Starting Point

Explore different forms and geometries to determine which would encourage user interaction.

How It Works

FLIP uses feel as its main interaction point. It is a unique design not only in form, but in using texture and tactile feel to remind users to turn off their lights.

What aspects of a design can offer a solution to this problem?

The geometry? The feel? The action?

How can we use these principles to create a light switch that encourages interaction and therefore helps to reduce lighting usage in homes across the United States?
